Cropped Cardigans: Sew it now, wear it FOREVER!

Glam up your Style with a Cropped Cardigan

Who said Y2K styles are out? Since the pandemic started, we haven’t gone out as much as we used to. For someone who stayed home through most of it, being able to dress up is a must, even if you’re just going out for a grocery run. My go-to errand outfit is jeans and a white t-shirt. But sometimes we want to dress up according to what’s on trend. One style I really love is the cropped cardigan. Being comfortable in your outfit is always the top priority. Cropped cardigans are perfect, whether you’re running errands or just want to hang out with friends! Aside from looking chic, it’s super comfy!

Cropped cardigans are great to pair with something high-waisted like jeans, shorts, skirts, etc. You can even wear it with a dress! Mixing and matching is the key! Cropped cardis go well with just about anything! In this blog, I want to share how easy it is to make a basic cropped cardigan. For this project, you can use any stretch knit like French Terry Rayon, Sweater Knit, and Ribbed Knit. You’ll be needing at least 1.5 – 2 yards depending on the size you’re making. Here are sewing tutorials that you can follow to make your own cropped cardigan:
